Whole Wheat English Muffins

Making freshly milled whole wheat goodies does not have to be limited to loaf bread! This took me a while to figure out - but once I did, there was no limit to the home made whole wheat alternatives I would try. I used to purchase things like pita pockets, bagels and English Muffins because I assumed they would be too difficult to make. After all, these were not the typical loaf bread recipe I had just recently tackled. To put it short...I was intimidated!

I would like to encourage anyone who has moved to freshly milled whole wheat loaf bread to branch out to other areas of whole wheat baked goods. We teach local classes and soon to be on line (sign up for the newsletter to find out when) to help encourage you to try your hand at some of the more 'advanced' types of baked goods using freshly milled whole wheat.
